One Week

Well it has been one week since I was here and it was a rough week ,but God is so good and I am really feeling wonderful again. I thank you Lord. It is also one week today till Rocky and I head off to conference and we are very excited. We also praise our Father for His faithfullness in every detail of this application process.When either one of us would began to feel that maybe we are going in the wrong direction or that maybe we have not heard correctly because maybe God has been quite for awhile and then WOW! He just does His mighty stuff and of course we are encourage by His faithfullness. Our message on Sunday was Psalm84:5-9,
5-7,,,Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, Whose heart is set on pilgrimage.As they pass through the valley of Baca, They make a spring; The rain also covers it with pools. They go from strength to strength; Each one appears before God in Zion.) The Valley of Baca, or "Valley of Weeping," Refers to the various difficulties that one might face on a pilgrimage. The person on a pilgrimage might discover that the once-dark valley is filled with springs , rain and pools--- all signs of God's blessings. strength to strength: As one nears the the temple, the rigors of the journey become tolerable, for the joy of the approaching arrival strengthens the soul.

Attack

Well you know when you say YES LORD, you can be sure that you will encounter attacks from the evil one.....BBBBUT! We already know who won the battle! Our precious Lord and Savior Paid the price.I started coming down with a urinary tract infection on Friday and of course it just progressed through the weekend.Sunday was spent in bed asleep all day and i went back to sleep at 7:30 and slept through the nite and I was so looking forward to getting some real meds today. Got up this morning and took a quick shower so I would be ready if the Dr.'s office said come on in,,,which is what I thought would happen. Well when I got ready to call the Dr.'s office what else but the phone is out of order. So I thought what to do, you must remember that I am not thinking to good. So I went to town 14 miles away and went by my work place and first called the phone co. and they they would take care of it.then I call Dr.'s office and they said come on by and leave a sample and I did and that was about 9:45am and now it is 4:20pm and I have not heard a word from the Dr.'s office but Praise God,,, I was having tremendous chills and fever all afternoon and a precious Sister in Christ called to ask me something and I ask her to pray and within 10 min. the chills were gone.Thank you Nancy.My amazing husband came all of the way home on his short lunch time to check on.I am Blessed!JESUS IS THE VICTOR!!!
