Sunday

This morning we attended Bangs FBC. There was a commissioning service for a special young lady and we wanted to be there for it. We were completely blessed. After being there I will be more diligent about prayer for her and her parents as they send her off in one week.

Having been there I know that they are so very proud of their daughter and glad that she is serving the Lord ,but yet there is alot of pain saying goodbye. But they will be rewarded for their sacrifice. God bless Brother Lee and Cindy!

Then we had a lovely lunch with a sweet brother and sister from Bangs. They were a blessing to us. Thanks Mike and Judy. We love you.

Fundraiser

Today we were at Walmart fron 9:00-2:00 selling sausage wraps and brisket sandwiches to raise funds for Mexico and Hatti mission trips. It was very hot about 100 degrees or more! It was good to see alot of wonderful friends while we were there. People are always coming and going on Saturdays at Walmart.

Haskel

We went to Haskel on Friday by way of the guitar store in Abilene! I did not take my camera so no photo.
We had a great day with Rocky's Mom and sister. It was good to just fellowship and encourage one another.

Sad Day

This morning Rocky loaded the cows and calves up and headed over to Coleman to the cow sale. Rocky really cares about his animals and their well being so it is a hard thing for him to take them to the sale and leave them.

Friends

Rocky and I are so very blessed with friends. This is Rocky and our special neighbor Bill. He knew that Rocky was loading up feeders and such so he jumped in his pick-up and down our road he came to help.

Strange Feelings

This evening when we started to church I got my key chain out of my purse and it seem like it was too small amount of keys. Then I remembered that I had turned in my key at work on Saturday morning. At that point I began to think wow! I would soon give up my house key and car key and then I would have no keys. I think I may just be attached to my keys. I kinda had some strange waves wash over me. I know it just keys ,but I have had a key chain with keys for 35 years. Do you think that it might be a security thing? No house Key,,,No house,,,,No car key,,,,No car!

Gifts

I am speechless! I have had the pleasure to work along side the most precious and giving people. And the clients that come to the shop are all part of my family and they were all so very generous to me.

Everyone made me feel very special and I am so thankful for all of the LOVE that was shown to me.

I love all of you and will miss you much.

Full Day

Rocky and I also closed on the sale of our home today. It is good to get this done and move forward. We are excited about our training in Virginia and what all we will be learning. God is so awesome!!!! We actually get to stay in the house till we leave for training. Thanks for all of the prayers said on our behalf.

This cake is a bittle brittle and it is so delicious. It is very hard to only eat one piece. A lovely friend made this for me. Thanks Nokie.

Last days at work

Two precious co-workers that I will miss dearly. Today was a day filled with eating and lots of hugs and goodbyes at work. Tomorrow will be my last day and we will be doing lots more of the same so if your in the neighborhood stop by for a bite and a hug.

Trailer

Rocky has finished the cargo trailer that we will be storing our furniture and his tools in while we are away in Ecuador. It is pink inside and I think that Savannah will like it all pretty pink.

Friday

YEA! It is Friday evening and we do not have to jump up early in the morning. I love slow easy Saturday mornings. We are planning to go to Weatherford to the Black Reunion. And I heard something about the guitar store.

We received our flight plans to Virginia and back today and that has encouraged us. We finalized the contract on house. Closing on Thursday.

Perm

I went to get a perm from Lisa and I told her that this is not what I want. I love my perm! So much body! Thanks Lisa.

Memories

Dreaded Job!

I have made the leap and have begun to do what I need to do with all of those family photos. I started placing them single layer with tissue paper between layers. OH! But it is going to take awhile and lots of tissue paper. I tried to just do it and not keep taking walks down memory lane. Oh my ,but I must have had the cutest kids around and I know without a doubt that my grandkids are really really cute.

I will tell my clients that I will be through at work in 2 weeks. My last day will be the 19th of June.

Actually Rocky and I both got to moving things around tonite. It seems to get messy when we do that.

WE GOT MAIL

We were headed out this evening to go with the kids from church to an end of school swimming party. We stopped to check mail and WOW! We got mail from our Savannah and Caleb who lives in a far away land! Thank you! I love the letter. It came on June 3rd, Wednesday.
