You just never know

On Wednesday evening just before dark Rocky and I had both had our showers and were in our PJs. We had all ready had supper and was settled in for a night of "LOST". When There was a knock at our gate. I was thinking it was our neighbor probably sharing some dish with us, but no it was Pedro from Shakai with his little backpack. Pedro had just arrived on the bus and wanted to stay aweek with us.Rocky told him that we would be leaving Sunday for Cuenca and he said ok I will go to my mother-in-laws.
  We were not sure of what exactly he wanted in Zomora but gotta be flexible...He told us he wanted toapply for a new cedula( a form of ID, sorta like SS card in US)  so we say ok and we go next door to Carolina's to find out where the office is located. WELL it turns out that he wants to see a dentist with his new medical card that he recieved the last time he was in town with us. Carolina calls up her Mom who works at the hospital and she says come on down now and he can see the dentist. Off we went and had to wait for a short time and got into the office and the dentist said he needs his teeth pulled and we could see the bottom teeth and they were so very loose and his gums were very infected so the dentist pulled the bottom teeth which consisted of six. He said to come back next week and he would pull the 4 on top...That is all the teeth he had. We told the dentist that it would be a couple of weeks before we could return with Pedro and he said ok but that he neede to just rest and have soft foods  and that is what we have done. He is much better today. No spitting!!!! 
   This morning we had oatmeal for breakfast and we took off to get his new Cedula. it was really quick and easy!!!! That is a first. We are back home and Rocky is out side cleaning up behind his new dog! I just sent Pedro outside with a cup of Apple tea with salt to rinse his mouth.
   Tonight is bible study in Naichap and Pedro told us that he has a daughter that lives in El Pangue and would like to stay and visit with her while we are at bible study and will pick him back up after on our way home. ( Who knows what this will entail before the night is over!)
   
I am looking forward to traveling to Cuenca for a couple of days and visit with special friends and co-workers in the kingdom. We will leave on Sunday morning and return on Tuesday, On Thursday we will begin our travels to Lima,Peru for our OGM meeting and will return on July1. Well that is all I can think of as of now.
